MICHIGAN CITIZENS
FOR STEM CELL RESEARCH
Do you support stem cell research? Did you know that Michigan state legislators have passed laws that restrict
stem cell research more than President Bush's restrictions do?
Michigan citizens for stem cell research want to remove some of these restrictions and allow our universities
and other state-funded organizations to more fully participate in researching this important new field.
Andy Meisner, a Michigan state legislator from the Ferndale area, is proposing a resolution that would remove
some of these restrictions while reinforcing the restrictions on human reproductive cloning.
Michigan Citizens for Stem Cell Research is supporting the Meisner resolution by gathering petition signatures of
Michigan citizens who understand the amazing potential this new field of medicine presents.
